September 26–27, 2026: a single route, 400 km, 6,900 meters of elevation gain and two stages through the most authentic side of Tuscany, among villages, forests, the Maremma and, of course, the sea of Punta Ala.

The Fiorino Mud is back, and registrations for the 2026 edition are officially open. Now in its sixth edition, Tuscany’s ultra-distance gravel adventure makes a bold choice this year: one route only, and the most demanding one yet. A 400 km challenge with 6,900 meters of elevation gain, to be completed over two stages across some of Tuscany’s most beautiful and untamed landscapes.

400 km, 6,900 meters of climbing, more than 220 km of gravel roads and a maximum elevation of 588 meters. These numbers perfectly describe the spirit of Fiorino Mud 2026: a demanding route to be tackled with strong legs, clear focus and a taste for adventure.

From the province of Florence to the Maremma coast and back, the course winds through gravel roads, forests, vineyards, villages and rolling hills, crossing the provinces of Florence, Arezzo, Siena and Grosseto. As tradition dictates, the route will be completely redesigned. That is one of the unique features of Fiorino Mud: no two editions are ever the same. Route scouting for 2026 is already underway, with organizers Thomas Andrew Daddi and Gianluca Scafuro searching for the perfect balance of white roads, climbs, scenery and technical sections.

The format that has made the event so popular remains unchanged: no arrows, no marked course, just a detailed GPX track with water points, food stops and useful navigation information. Apart from the mandatory overnight stop in Punta Ala, riders are free to interpret the challenge in their own way, choosing their own pace, breaks and strategy.

After more than 200 km in the saddle, the PuntAla Camp & Resort becomes the finish point of the first stage and the logistical heart of the event. Here, participants will find everything they need to recover before day two: a food area, hot showers, charging stations, mechanical assistance and a dedicated camp area with pre-pitched Ferrino tents and camp beds included in the entry fee. Those looking for extra comfort can also book one of the resort’s accommodation options.

Early on Sunday morning, riders head back north to complete the loop and close out one of Italy’s most fascinating gravel adventures.

The Fiorino Mud 2026 is open to gravel bikes, MTBs, cyclocross bikes and e-bikes. The organization takes care of luggage transport, allowing participants to ride light and focus entirely on the experience. Registration also includes a race pack, on-site services, professional photos and access to the event village.

Places are limited and registrations are already open..

See you on September 26–27, 2026, for another epic adventure across Tuscany.
