At Punta Ala Trail Center we are most famous for our enduro trails, but many cross-country riders and singletrack explorers come here to make the most of many miles of winding, flowing trails by the sea and into the backcountry. There’s a reason why Olympic Champions choose to train here!

“Flow and great views everywhere! I really enjoyed the pedalling trails and singletrack as well as the enduro stuff (and the beach!)” MONET ADAMS, WIDEOPEN MAG

From our base, with its fantastic facilities including shops and restaurants, tennis courts and beach activities, you can be on smooth, undulating trail within a few minutes’ pedal. Dozens of options for fun and testing trail can be found on the doorstep or further afield, and indeed many riders like to make use of the extensive local network of white roads to access far away sites of interest and epic trails!

Singletrack riding here is about putting some miles under your belt, enjoying our fantastic countryside, climate and culture, and making the most of many dozens of trails in and near our vicinity.

For those staying with us, trails and rides are easy to find following forestry signs and maps available on request in our bike shop.

If you prefer to be in the hands of one of our professional, English-speaking, local guides, and benefit the tutoring and trail knowledge of talented and experienced riders, we offer a guiding service. This is very popular with cross-country, singletrack riders.

Our trail map below marks easier ‘Singletrack/Enduro’ trails that are suitable for all bikes, and ‘Enduro’ trails that many cross-country riders also like to use, but that are best on a full-suspension bike. Further afield, the Massa Marrittima trail area (just off the map) is enjoyed by all and a great day out from Punta Ala Trail Center.
