This year, Bike Boobs and Punta Ala Trail Center are joining forces to offer two events exclusively dedicated to women. Their aim: to promote cycling not only as a sport, but also as a tool for empowerment, autonomy, and freedom.
A new all-female adventure
Punta Ala Trail Center is kicking off the season with its first-ever event entirely dedicated to women. The project is all about creating a friendly and fun space for women who want to get into cycling or try it in a new way. It’s about learning, sharing, and exploring—without any pressure, and with lots of good vibes. Supporting this new direction is Bikeboobs, a project born to celebrate and highlight the female presence in the cycling world.
Bike Boobs is a project created by women, for women—built around bikes, connection, and freedom. It started from the simple idea of riding together, without judgment or pressure. Just a group of women sharing trails, challenges, laughs, and a passion for life on two wheels.
Over time, it’s become a growing community that uses cycling as a way to break stereotypes, build confidence, and support each other—with a strong focus on independence, self-expression, and sisterhood.
Two formats, one shared vision
There are two events planned for summer 2025, each with a different format and approach, but both offering women a unique opportunity to ride, share, and grow. Participants will pedal through the stunning Maremma region of Tuscany, along its wild and unspoiled coast—an ideal setting to recharge, immersed in nature and far from daily stress.
And comfort is not compromised: the events will be hosted at the PuntAla Camp & Resort, where participants will wake up to birdsong in a fragrant maritime pine forest, with every service needed to enjoy a stress-free outdoor experience.
Boobs Tour Punta Ala: May 31 – June 1, 2025
Two days of biking and relaxation designed to explore the beauty of the Tuscan Maremma together. The Boobs Tour is the perfect introduction to bike travel—relaxed, well-organized, and far from any pressure to perform. Participants will ride safely with expert guides along scenic routes through forested hills, sandy coves, and beaches, visiting iconic spots such as Cala Violina, Cala Martina, the hills of Scarlino, and the historic town of Castiglione della Pescaia.
This experience is ideal for women who love cycling, want to learn something new, and enjoy sharing the road with fellow enthusiasts. Routes are suitable for all skill levels and open to MTB, gravel, and e-bikes. All rides start and finish at PuntAla Camp & Resort, where accommodation and bike rental are available thanks to the support of the Punta Ala Trail Center.
WOM – Women On Mission: July 3–6, 2025
WOM is more than just an event—it’s an active vacation in nature designed to nurture women’s independence in the saddle. A long weekend dedicated to riding, discovery, learning, and sharing among women. It starts on Thursday evening and ends on Sunday at lunch: a valuable break to enjoy the forest, the sea, and new connections.
The program includes two bike rides on exclusive tracks suitable for gravel and MTB (including e-bikes), with guidance focused on improving confidence and technique. There are also three hands-on workshops covering bike mechanics, bikepacking, and GPS navigation. Each day ends with a sunset yoga session on the beach to unwind and recharge.
WOM is, above all, a space for inspiration and connection between women—a community that empowers, supports, and recharges both body and soul in the serene atmosphere of PuntAla Camp & Resort.
Two events, one clear message: cycling is a powerful vehicle for freedom and personal growth. And in Punta Ala, it becomes a reality.
With this double proposal, the Punta Ala Trail Center expands its outdoor offerings, targeting women in a structured and dedicated way for the first time. Two unique opportunities to experience the Maremma, meet new companions, and rediscover yourself.
