The new pumptrack at PuntAla Camp & Resort is open now

We are delighted to unveil PuntAla Camp & Resort’s new pumptrack.
The new track, supplied and installed by Swiss firm Parkitect, is a state-of-the-art modular pumptrack that can be rolled on by pretty much any wheels. That means you can ride your bike, rollerskates and skateboard around its snaking turns and flowing humps.
Why ride a pumptrack? The simplest answer is it’s a lot of fun! Generating speed by pumping over rollers (humps) and whipping around banked corers gives a sensation of flow and speed – it’s like going on a trail ride without leaving the resort. Secondly, it is one of the best ways of improving your bike riding skills. Learning to manoeuvre a bike over and around the course, reducing hesitations and learning to interpret obstacles couldn’t be made easier than with a pumptrack.
If you have smaller riders in the family, it’s also a great way to tire them out while you watch on from the nearby café… you’d be surprised how much of a workout it can be going around the pumptrack.
Punta Ala Trail Center’s new pumptrack is now open for all visitors who are staying at PuntAla Camp & Resort.
