Spring pre-opening from April 18 to May 3 with Unpaved Roads. Official season launch from May 23 for a full summer on two wheels.

The 2025 season at Punta Ala Trail Center is just around the corner, launching with exciting news: a special spring pre-opening and a whole summer dedicated to riding. PuntaAla Camp&Resort is ready to welcome back riders, families, and outdoor lovers with a special opening window from April 18 to May 3, designed to coincide with Easter, the April 25 and May 1 holidays—but most of all, to continue a now unmissable tradition.

On April 26 and 27, Unpaved Roads returns: the gravel “no race” event that has symbolically kicked off our season for the past three years. More than just an event, Unpaved Roads embodies a vision of cycling as a tool for freedom, exploration, and connection—far from stopwatches and rankings. Just gravel roads, ever-changing scenery, chats with friends, and a desire to enjoy every single kilometer. Once again, it proved to be a full success, with 400 registered participants!

It’s the perfect opportunity to get back in the saddle, ride the first lines of the season, and enjoy the awakening of the Tuscan Maremma—among Mediterranean scrub, singletrack, and stunning sea views.

The official opening of the resort is set for May 23, kicking off a long season that will stretch into autumn, with all services up and running, fun trails, and a full calendar of events.

And to welcome riders at their best, the Punta Ala Trail Center team — together with MaremmaExperience, Bagnoli Bike, and BiboWildTrails — has been hard at work maintaining and upgrading trails in several riding areas. From the Bandite di Scarlino, where trails 301 and Carbonai have been cleaned up and are ready to ride, to the Cala Violina zone, with improvements on Api and Carlito’s, fresh new lines on Torretta/New Torretta, Trail 3 now smoother and safer, and finally the upper section of The Guardian, completely revamped.

Every trail has its soul and deserves care. It’s not just about fixing: it’s a job that requires respect for the land and passion for those who ride it,” says Davide “Bibo” Brugnoli, one of the Punta Ala Trail Center guides. And it’s with this mindset that the whole team approached the work: banked turns, rocks, tech lines, every detail was refined to deliver a riding experience that’s even safer, more fun, and more fulfilling..

We work on the territory because we believe that a great ride starts here: with well-maintained trails, accessible routes, and rider-friendly services,” says Maria Luisa Cionini, Head of Sports at PuntAla Camp & Resort. This vision is the foundation of the Punta Ala Trail Center’s offering, which in 2025 once again confirms a complete range of services for two-wheel enthusiasts: guided tours, shuttle service, bike rentals, pump track, and more.

One new feature this year is Komoot: rent a bike at Punta Ala Trail Center and access the shop’s official Komoot profile including a handpicked selection of routes—ideal for exploring the area on your own, easily and intuitively, even without a guide.

The new season is just around the corner, with packed calendar of events tailored for every riding style. Different formats, custom experiences, and one shared goal: to promote a style of riding based on discovery, connection, and freedom. And for the first time, two events will be fully dedicated to women, created in collaboration with Bike BoobsBoobs Tour, two days of guided rides, relaxation, and community, and WOM – Women On Mission, a long weekend with group rides, workshops, and sunset yoga. A strong statement that reaffirms Punta Ala Trail Center’s commitment to an inclusive, authentic, and open offer for all. Because in the end, cycling is just that: a way to feel good—together, on two wheels.
See you in Punta Ala!
