Punta Ala Trail Center and PuntAla Camp & Resort CEO’s interview from Pinkbike

READ THE INTERVIEW

Punta Ala Trail Center (PATC) is based out of PuntAla Camp & Resort, a beachside haven along a long stretch of golden sand on the Maremma coastline of Tuscany.

The family-run Resort has long been a fixture of many Italians’ summer holidays – a getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life to a quieter spot immersed in wonderful natural surroundings. For the last 10-or-so years, it has welcomed mountain bikers and actively promoted the sport in the region, building trails and infrastructure, promoting the area and even hosting the first ever Enduro World Series race in 2013.

It’s a business, but it is more than that. There are real people behind the Resort’s day-to-day running, and right the way to the top it is run by passionate staff who love the outdoors, sports and healthy living.

We are honoured that Pinkbike, the world’s biggest mountain biking media outlet, recently decided to interview the Resort’s CEO, Thomas Daddi. The interview is well worth a read – Thomas explains how mountain biking came to PATC, a little about the area, and you will get an insight into the adventurous spirit of the Resort’s longterm owner and find out what it’s like to host a world-level enduro race too.
